Sassafras Hollow Artisans are a close knit
group of
diverse interests and talents. Among the items our
craftsmen create
are birdhouses, bird feeders, nesting platforms, hand wrought sterling
silver and semi-precious stone
jewelry . We are a owner operated business. All items are built in
Sandown, NH, USA.
All
our birdhouses have ventilation and drainage holes, rough interior to provide
good footing for fledglings, copper roof flashing to prevent water seepage and
wood rot… side that opens for easy cleaning, Materials used in our birdhouses
include red wood, red cedar, pine, copper, solid brass nails and screws, and
carpenters glue. Entrance portals are made of red oak.
