Robin Nesting Platform

       We have redesigned our nesting platform, we think the new design is superior to the old functionally and aesthetically. The carvings now enclose the shelf more to provide more privacy for the tenants, the carvings have been inset 1/4" from the back, floor and roof to better protect the carvings and the birds from the elements and provide more of a framing effect. A front piece has been added to provide better nest protection. The Robin  Nesting Platform is my original design, hand carved pine, it may also be used as a small platform feeder or decorative shelf. Eastern Phoebes and Barn Swallows will also enjoy nesting on this nesting platform.
